Seeking therapy is an act of courage and hope. I am so glad you are here. When we are feeling overwhelmed with life’s stressors or stuck in patterns we don't know how to break, it can be difficult to imagine seeing and experiencing ourselves differently.
I have been providing mental health therapy for over a decade, working with clients of all genders and sexual orientations, and with clients who are diagnosed with or self identify as neurodivergent. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD and complex trauma, family and relationship stressors, and problems related to major life adjustments. My approach is trauma-informed and both insight-and solution focused. Because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, I work collaboratively with my clients. Together, we will tailor your treatment based on what works for you. I provide Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness skills-building, and Motivational Interviewing in an environment of safety, compassion, and encouragement.
My purpose as your therapist is to help you to identify and lessen the hold of old beliefs and outdated coping styles that are getting in your way. I look forward to meeting you and facilitating your journey as you build insight, restore or create a new sense of empowerment, and begin to manage difficult emotions in a way that is more sustainable for you.
