I became a therapist because I find true joy in connecting with others. In 2011 I began a dual degree program in Social Work (MSW) and Women’s and Gender Studies (MA) at Loyola University Chicago. Ever since, I have devoted my career to the areas of women’s issues and trauma.

I am passionate about the field of mental health and am committed to constantly evolving my skills as a therapist. In particular, my work has been greatly influenced by the Womencare Counseling Summer Institute on the Relational Treatment of Trauma (Evanston, Illinois) and Postpartum Support International’s perinatal mood and anxiety disorder certificate training.

Before entering private practice in 2016 Stephanie provided clinical care in community mental health settings with a focus on women and non-binary individuals who had experienced trauma, severe mental illness, substance use, and homelessness in Chicago.

My intention as a therapist is to cultivate a trusting and honest relationship, collaborate in creating language and meaning about your life experiences, and support you in feeling like your most authentic self.
