Although our focus area is women’s health, the support most appropriate to address an individual’s needs or goals can vary and so we offer several therapy services and arrangements. 

Access to therapy is also something we’re passionate about - which is why we’re committed to offering therapy in-person at our Columbus and Cleveland offices as well as virtually throughout the state of Ohio.

Individual therapy
One-on-one therapy is best for clients that are seeking to address goals or symptoms at the personal level. This may include a desire to process through a traumatic experience and the impact the person may feel, a goal of increasing coping skills to manage Generalized Anxiety or a life transition, as well as the need to support oneself ongoing while managing a chronic condition such as Major Depressive Disorder. The report a client builds with her therapist is important to this work and we often begin by scheduling with clients weekly, allowing for more flexibility as symptoms improve and goals are met. For brief therapy engagements, clients often meet with a therapist for 6-8 times, however this certainly can vary depending on an individual’s situation and it’s not uncommon for a therapeutic relationship to last months or even years. 

Couples therapy
Wild Hope Therapy offers couples therapy on a limited basis virtually and in-person. Our clinicians are trained in evidence based modalities appropriate for supporting couples in navigating growth and challenges in their relationships including Gottman. Clients can expect to meet with a clinician as a couple to identify goals and discus the path forward.

Groups
Wild Hope Therapy is excited to begin offering groups in 2024.
